This is an annual competition in which 3000 students from various schools come together to participate.   The Jazz Ensemble of Booker High School are four time defending champions for Vocal Jazz Ensemble and two time defending champion Jazz Combo.  This competition allows for great exposure for Booker High School.  Students will also be participating in a tour of the Berklee College of Music and will audition for scholarships while there.

That the Booker High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble field trip to Boston, Massachusetts, on March 12, 2010 through March 14, 2010, be approved.
